turkeys this morning

I had a total of 13 Turkeys around me this morning. I had my 2 hen decoys at 15 yards. I sat there over 2hrs watching all these birds and FINALLy 2 gobblers started coming my way. The 2 stayed out there a bit and I decided they werent going to walk past my blind window without one of them going down! I settled my 40 yard pin on one of them because he wasnt getting any closer, so I let it fly and come up a little short. The Turkey flew straight up in the air about 2 feet and back down like nothing ever happened. I thought aim justa little higher , NOTHING BUT AIR  ! I walked the ground over for 10 or so minutes looking for my 2 lost arrows and nothing!! Im going back in the morning , Im not gonna guess no more! I have no range finder I use decoys or sticks for range!!

Well..... That explains why there's no picture.
At least you got to take advantage of the opportunity and get out.

Nothing to get mad about  . At least you have some to miss , sounded like a slice to me and hopefully tomorrow we'll see pics.

Its even more aggravating with a rifle at 20 yds......    Happened to me this spring..... Nothing but air.
Keep after em ya never know what tomorrow will bring......
