I just wanted to publicly thank Jim for his efforts in compiling all of Onecoyote's post in "Remembering Danny Batastini".  In this day and age of "coyote egoes" alot of us fail to recognize what has appeared before us, and the blessings that have been bestowed upon us unbenounced.  Danny showed up here, not to flaunt his achievements.  But out of respect, and love of the sport.  He openly shared, and asked nothing in return.  These are the folks that need to be remembered.

No problem. Now I just pray like "L" that nothing happens to his photobucket account where those pictures are.

I thought about downloading the pics and reuploading them but to go through all those posts,  reedit with a new image location and try to get them all straight .....Ooooooo boyeeeeeeeee :nono:

I got faith in ya Jimmy boy. I bet you could get it done in half a pack of smokes.
Don't bring shame to our sport.

He died for dipshits too.

I never got to meet Danny or his wife in person only through the websites we both visited over the years. From his posts alone I grew to respect Danny, he was one of the good guys.
Please visit our ol' buddies over at: http://www.easterncoyotes.com

Born and raised in the southern highlands of Appalachia, I'm just an ol' country boy who enjoys calling coyotes... nothing more, nothing less.

Glad you mentioned this Dave or it might have been days or even weeks before I noticed it.

Very classy Jimbo. Danny surely deserves it and what a present he gave to all of us for appearing amongst us for but a little while. He was a good one.

Yeah, right click, save as...
But then they will have to be identified somehow as to where and in what post they go into. I just dont have any time to spare to stop and go through it all, recreate it it, and then back it all up.

instead of "save as" you may want to go the "save target as" route, if you are wanting to back up pictures from photo-bucket. If you simply "save as" you are saving the picture the size that is displayed on the site, if you use the "save target as" you save the original sized picture as saved in photo-bucket. Sometimes doing it this way will let you save the original size and that can help out on quality of the pic. Especially if it is something you may want to crop and enlarge at a latter date.

This is just a thought, it is only a thought. If it had actually been an Idea you would have received even more detailed instructions as to possibly do what you all are thinking about. Which is a Hell of an idea by the way. Stuff like that needs saving.

And for IDing the pictures as to where they go and such. After saving the pic you can open the properties menue and go to the details tap. There you will have several text boxes that you can copy and past any info you need.

Suggestion. Under the "tags" text box you could copy and paste the original post or whatever info you feel is needed. The other text boxes can be filled In as to your liking. As soon as you have the details click apply and there you go. Quick way to know where the pics go.

I am using Vista so you may not have the same capabilities as me. If I had faster internet I would help out moving and saving them

I was thinking maybe the whole PB account could be saved by putting it on a disc or discs using some of that computer magic you know.  :eyebrownod:

Yeah any photo on the internet can be saved to someones computer. and written to disk if ya want.
The magic aint, I say the magic aint the problem. It's finding the time to set down, save all of them and label them as to what post and where they would go, in the case of a mishap with the pics.
It's just something I can't fit in at the moment, with web clients to tend to everyday after work.

Maybe in January if were not working everyday.
