Who makes this call?

It's actually a lot like the squirrel calls you guys are passing back and forth, with the exception that the bellow is soft rubber, and it's much longer probably (10 inches to a foot), and corrugated like a grunt tube.

With a regular closed reed call plugging one end, any air exerted through the call is from the soft rubber, closed off, bellow.
To make noise you just shake it, and it's louder them "L"

This first video there seems to not have been much light so it's hard to tell what the call looks like, but as you'll see I just shook it to show you what it does.

The second video turned out a little better as I set up where there was more light. This time I stretched out the tube and held it stretched out while shaking the wood end with the closed reed in it.

Setting there with all my hunting clothes on, looks like I'm in an igloo with a couch. LOL

Like I said the thing was loud as heck. You could even stretch out the tube and let it back real slow for an ear piercing squall that lasted forever.

Jim, when i first saw it, I thought of Penns Woods because they used to make a gobbler shaker about that size.  It could still be a gobble shaker made by some one else. Hold the solid end in one hand and the hose in the other hand and shake the tube up and down to see if it soungs like a turkey gobbling. If not,I don't have any idea.
Complete line of turkey, locator, deer and squirrel calls.

Ahhhhh :eyebrownod: Never thought of that.
I found it settin on a buddys coffee table who says he dont recall where it came from. But none the less, it's there and I'm here and I cant try that.

I'm doubting it would make a gobble sound though, it sounded just like a hyper closed reed. In fact you could look inside and see the closed reed.

Can't see the video on the iPhone, figure it's a Herters or Scotts bellow call.

KySongDog

It looks sorta like a gobble call like Blacky said.  But the one I have has a diaphragm call in it, not a closed reed.  Interesting though.   :wo:

I have something like that, but it's a goose call ... I think.

My wife heard the video playing and asked what it was. I told her it was a guy working a call. She asked what kind of call? A monkey call? I said that I didn't think that was his monkey...at least I didn't think it was.

THATS THE PUPPY!
I thought I could make out the word "predator" on the wood body, but it was a little wore.
It's a heck of an idea, very handy, very loud, but I'm a lil skeptical of the movement involved in using it.

How in the heck did you find that, Scott?
