Packing that is!

The back of the truck is loaded with various duck decoys. The boat is loaded with the big goose decoys and various other necessities. I just have to pack up the odds and ends. Then pay a visit to the eye doc in morning - head home to hook up the boat, then I am on the road heading to Chincoteauge

I may check in in the evenings, but probably won't post much until I get back on Sunday or Monday. There will be plenty of pics too...good ones I hope. You guys behave yourselves...

My hunting partner is already down there. He left at 3am so he could hunt/scout before I get there. He said there were probably 3000+ ducks as he crossed the Bay Bridge and 1000's of geese. Of course, trying to coax a handful of them into range is another story.

The weather looks like it will be cooperative too. High 40's with a slight chance of precipitation a couple of the days. Doesn't get much better than that in late January.

Back to packing now...

BTW-- IF you have an extra couple seconds while hooking up the boat tomorrow could you give us a Dr report??

Doc says the eye looks a lot better, but still not 100%. I do get to cut back on the drops to 3x daily and the horse pill 1x a day until they are gone. Then I have to come back and see him yet again in 2 weeks. Time to hook the boat up and hit the road.
