these birds were roughly 60-75 yds out there, the digi zoom makes em blurry but imo they were 2 yr olds.   Had fun playin with em and if I were to hunt them I would use a deke, they were lookin for a hen like crazy.

Last year I didnt have much time at all to hunt em, this year I say I aint.....I say I aint messin around, got plenty of time off for the season  :innocentwhistle: :biggrin:

Thanks Vic. :biggrin:  Man that do look like more fun than any bird hunting I do.   Got a question for you fellows while we are on the subject of turkeys, do you ever get more than one with a shot?
I say what I think not think what I say.

Just sayin, not that I've killed more than one with one shot  :nono: I bet it sure does happen.

Yep, I'd say they were two year olds.  Nice video.   ;yes;

In Kaintuckee, you are allowed only one bird per day and two per season.    Shooting two with one shot is a no-no.  :nono:

 :yoyo: :yoyo: I'm hoping to see & hear that real soon myself Vic!!!!!!!!!!  :eyebrownod: :eyebrownod: :yoyo: :yoyo: :biggrin: :biggrin:

A Friend of mine here shot one with a bow & the arrow deflected on it's way thru & hit another bird off to the right & behind it. He thought it was about 10 yards away. His Son seen the arrow hit the other bird as he was watching the wrong one.  He told the DNR what happened & they let him go. But he could only keep the turkey he intended to harvest.

We also are allowed only 1 bird spring and fall...and it can get real touchy making sure you only hit one bird when you shoot..my last bird was in a group that came up to about 15 yards from me...I had the mossberg 835 up....waiting and waiting for a bird to step clear...thought sure they were gunna bust me...that mossberg was starting to feel like it weighed 50 pounds...finally one stepped a bit clear from the others and I nailed him...one of my most exciting hunts...in this case the other birds flew off instantly...but I have shot them that close before and had the other birds just stand there and not leave too...a complex bird, the turkey.
