The day after the trap was set it poured rain all night long. Needless to say every little piece of dirt and fill for 3 surrounding counties came to rest under that pan and made a beautiful solid base for this critter to safely dance on.

I tried to reset it tonight myself. I'm not much of a trapper so I'll be as surprised as anyone here if there's fur in it over the next couple days.
On the good side...I still got all my fingers...see?
