My brother-in-law sent me this link.  Not a hunting trip, especially since they are protected, but an interesting story.

Very interesting for sure.
My first thoughts were, "boy did that guy get some amazing footage".
But after hearing that locals are unknowingly domesticating them, I dont imagine it was as tough as I'd expect.

Any one of those would make a nice rug. Can you imagine how distinct the blood from a gun shot would be on their fur? LOL

I didn't watch the whole video but did they say whether they were albinos?

He said they were indeed Albinos, and despite many beliefs Albinites (I thought that was a funny word) do not have to have pink eyes.

those white deer look good enough to mount but I don't know if I would want to. They are to pretty to kill.

Virginia allows them to be taken,and my granpa told us about one that used to run our mountain  but not a regular occ. around here. great post thanks for sharing
