Turkey Roll ups

This isnt anything new or fancy. I just had to give it a try today and I decided to share it. :eyebrow:

Large flour tortillas
Sliced turkey sandwich meat or other sandwich meat
Salad mix
Southwest Mustard
Whipped or creamy cream cheese
Pepperjack cheese
Cheddar cheese

1-Layout a tortilla and spread on a thin layer of Southwest mustard, covering one side entirely.
2- Then cover all but the last inch of tortilla with a layer of sandwich meat.
3- Then sprinkle on a light layer of salad mix.
4- Then cover the salad mix with a layer of pepper jack or cheddar cheese. (Still avoiding the last inch of the tortilla)
5- Then spread a thing layer of cream cheese on top of the sliced cheese.

6- Starting at the opposite end of the tortilla that you left bare, tightly and carefully roll the tortilla up. The bare edge that you left gives the toppings a bit of sliding room as you roll, and allows the end of the tortilla to close better as you finish rolling it up.

Once it's rolled up, slice it into 3/4 to 1 inch sections.
I cut these into 3/4" sections so I could get two layers in my lil cake pan. (because it has a tupperware lid)
Perfect hors d'oeuvres or snacks.

There wasnt a lot of effort Bill, but that pan didnt start filling up till my belly did. LOL :innocentwhistle:

Look good! I like those.
The other ones like that,
that I like, are the dried beef
with cream cheese, wrapped around
a dill pickle.  MMmm  mmm  :biggrin:

I hear ya Jim!! We buy at Giant Eagle & get a lot of items with their name on it too.  :biggrin:

Those do look purdy tasty too. I might have Diane make them in another 10lbs. I was a slim trim svelte 200lbs this AM!!!!  :biggrin:

they are good.  I have had em before.  another variation in pa that we do is take a slice of sweet lebanon balogna smear a layer of cream cheese on.  put a piece of american cheese on it and then roll it up.  good eats there.
