The Professional Bull Riders circuit was in town over the weekend again for their annual hoo rah. So naturally I had to go and support them yesterday.

Actually this is the first time in the last 6 years that I was able to attend the event and see it from the stands. Being a local, back-up, licensed bartender, I was always volunteer to work the event.

Even though after that many for me they all kinda seem the same, seeing it from the stands was kinda fun :eyebrow: And I manged to get some pics this time. I guess it's not like none of ya have ever seen Bull riding, but well...your gonna see some more here :laf:

Mutton busting for the younguns. The ones that ride the longest win the cash. 5 places up for grabs.

Cowboy Poker. Set four guys around a table playing poker, let a bull into the arena and the last one setting in his chair wins the cash. Pretty stupid if you ask me.
Look at the guy on the far left with his arms still folded as he begins to go over backwards.  :laf: :laf:

Oh and yes the one laying on the ground with the Dalmatian pattern shirt is a dummy. No I mean a mannikin dummy.

I didnt see any trashy women to take pictures of for Baxter, so I took a these instead.

I think this one, was starting to catch on to me :innocentwhistle: :doh2:

Neat pics! Those cowboys are a special breed.

I could not help but notice… is the bull rider wearing a helmet and chest protector?

The gal in the gray dress and my sister could be twins. :shock2: And yes, I do believe that cowgirl is about to bust your mutton.

Born and raised in the southern highlands of Appalachia, I'm just an ol' country boy who enjoys calling coyotes... nothing more, nothing less.

Some did and some didnt Chet. It appeared that most of the younger guys wore the helmets and vests.
Now you'd think that would be the other ay around wouldnt ya? The older ones with the most experience would know better.

They only had one bad injury, thank god. One of them took a spin on dismount and his legs got thrown straight up in the air. It looked like he was in the bent over position except he was upside down in mid air.
He landed upside down, on the back of his neck, with his head tucked. He never moved a muscle after he hit the ground, they hauled him off on a stretcher.

Just how many pics did you take of her, Jim? You didn't have to change memory cards did you?

:laugh2: :laugh2:

Looks like a lot of fun.
sometimes I wonder....is that getting closer..... then it hits me

I had a personal conflict the other day, now I'm not speaking to myself.... I'm getting lonesome

I met the girl of my dreams, I was the man of her dreams too.....she used the term "nightmares" though.

Rodeo's are always fun. and some of the scenery
doesn't hurt either.  Mutton bustin is fun to watch,
and the Bull poker is always entertaining.  :laf:
If ya don't mind, I'd like to share with ya my Bull riding career,
I believe it lasted a total of roughly 5 seconds.  :eyebrownod:

Once was enough eh Scott? :laf: Once woulda been too much for me, especially now that I'm an antique.

Art, I have a 16gig sd card in the camera, which max's out at 9999 pics on low resolution. So once I got to snapping pics of the blonde I only had to change cards once. :laf: :laf:

^   :laf:   I could see where after that she may start to get a little miffed .  :laf:

yeah, actually I went back to do it again, but the guy whose gear I was usin didn't
show up that night, and then a few of the other nights didn't work for me, probably
for the best though.  :eyebrownod:  It was a pretty good rush though !  :laf:
