We were once again invited across the highway to enjoy a very nice fireworks display & a night ride on a 4 mile trail thru stripped land. There were several Polaris Rangers & 2 Polaris 800EFI Razr's there. One brand new & one 2008 model plus several 4 wheelers for everybodies riding enjoyment. Bikes were provided by the local Polaris dealer to ride if you don't have one of your own. Which I don't. But we still had a blast. We got there a couple hours early to ride a Ranger up to the handgun range so Diane could shoot her LC9. Then we drove off to find the rest of the laid out trails. After a nice long ride we came back & took an '06 Honda Rubicon for a spin for about 45 minutes. Then we found a nice shiny Polaris 800EFI Razr setting there begging for attention. We took off on a journey & had a blast. These vehicles are fast sharp responsive vehicles & will snap loose in a heartbeat under full throttle.    At one point on the trail there is caution tape. For most folks this is a warning to slow down. For others,, well I don't know. But I know of two folks that understand now.

There is a small hump about 3' tall at the start of the tape. On the other side of the hump is an ever so slight left curve. The left side of the trail is a rocky 4' drop off & the right side has a big old mudhole that only the luckiest can make it thru. Well this is where the Rock lives.  :eyebrow:

This is a friendly Rock for the most part. There has always been an understanding between the Rock & the riders that if you don't hit it you will not anger it. Well the Rock was angered Saturday evening. And it bit back.  :nofgr:

After the Razr hit the Rock, the Rock swatted the Razr away. It appears the rear end of the Razr came up parting the Rock's hair.  :doh2:

The Rock then slapped the Razr in the right rear spinning it around across the trail where it came to a halt. The left rear was hanging over the rocky drop off & there was evidence of an attempted escape.  :laf:

Here you can see where the skid plate cleaned the weeds off nice as it spun around.

The lower A arm was ripped loose & the bumper bent up. The right rear tire was knocked off the rim as well. Luckily the 2 riders were wearing their safety belts & nobody,, Thankfully,, got hurt. Coulda been worse. We got it out by towing it with a Polaris 800 Ranger. Diane & I followed to pick up any pieces that fell off on our way back down the hill in another Ranger. The trip back was uneventful thankfully. We got it loaded with a backhoe.

How many sheets long was the waiver? :laf: :laf:
Actually that looks like a lot of fun. Their expecting some heavy duty riding with those buckets in them :yoyo:
The pics of that rock are kinda funny. The tracks lead right up to it and for some reason just come to a sudden halt. :eyebrownod:
I'm telling ya, thats just got Al Collins written all over it  :doh2: :alscalls:
