Wasnt a real productive day today (1:20 am) yesterday.

Rick223 and I hit the Wisconsin River today in hopes to score some decent smallies. Well, that plan crashed and there was plenty of fish caught, just not much worth bragging about.

I'm going to say 6 or 9 smallies, and mayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy B, a half a dozen walleyes. Nothing legal. :nono:
Close...but no cigar.

I wish we could keep these. MANnnnnnnnnnnn they are such good eating.

Dave

I was looking at the last pic and was wondering where the kitchen sink is?
Seriously, though, that looks like a great set up to fish out of.  I have a smaller john boat and there is NEVER enough room to fish out of.

Yup, the walleyes sure do taste good.  Glad you guys got out.  Im goin camping this weekend and leaving the wife at home so I'll be on the water ALOT.

It's not as full as it looks Dave.  I had to go back and look to see what caused ya to say that. :laf:
It does look like she's loaded right to the rim with everything but the kitchen sink. :alscalls: Heck there was walking room to spare.

Now the back of that truck......she's loaded up...with junk :laf:

Hidehunter...you be bringing us some pics, son. :eyebrownod:

You was catchin fish anyways. Still a good day out. :yoyo:
What's your opinion of the remote trolling motor. I had one for a while but had to go back to a real foot control cable. With the cable, I know weather my toe or heel is down, which way it will turn without looking at it. With the remote foot pad, I had no sense of direction by the feel of the pad and was constantly looking at the motor.

FinsnFur

I can't answer that legitimately Ed.
First off, it's Richs boat.
While we both went to pick out the trolling motor and decided on which one to get, I've only run it a few times with me using the fob.
Personally I hate it, but I havent got much time with that fob on my wrist. When we first got it all hooked up, all I did was bit** about not being able to crank my pole and operate that fob at the same time. You have to stop doing something cause you only got two hands. :laf:

Plus while I was guiding us to a spot, Rich was slamming my holes, everytime.
Oh man that did not come out right :doh2:

Anyway, I finally told him I wanted nothing to do with it. And that he could run it from back there.
But I gotta say, he's pretty handy with it. And when he gets wrapped up, or has to tend to his gear, I still got the foot feed up front with me which takes over as soon as ya touch it.

But that even sucks to me. Mostly cause of where I have to set it, and thats right where the bow of the boat begins to rise. So it's pretty tough. But it does give me something to whine about. :laf:
