interesting! Is that done with 2 pics?

Dave

That's pretty cool.  I must've watched that 30 times and it looks like two pics to me also.
Just scrolled down for another quick look and see a boat on the water and also noticed the two date stamps on the pics.  :doh2:

Jim,

That same thing happens to the trees in Ohio.    :alscalls:

P.S.  I am sorry, but I couldn't resist.  That is a neat picture.

It's two pictures, yeah. One taken in the winter and one this month.
I put them both in  photoshop, lay one on top of the other and try to line things back up.
The tree cluster lined up perfectly with itself in each picture, but for some reason the bluffs in the background I just noticed are off.
I tried to stand in the same exact spot, but it's tough when you in 2 1/2 feet of snow. :eyebrownod:

That's cool as heck Jim!  I've made a few .gif images myself.. hard to line it up, you did great! The ones I've done don't "faze in" like you've done here...   how you doing that?  (I like that better than what I do)

I used Photoshop Brad.
Place each picture in it's own layer.
Knock the opacity down to about 50% on the top one so you can see through it to line things up.
Then I trimmed off the access edges of which ever picture wasnt over layed due to the picture being taken in a slightly different spot.
Open the animation window, and knock the opacity down to 10% on the top window.
Add a new frame and bump the opacity up to 20%
Add a new frame and bump the opacity up to 30%
Keep doing that until you get the top pic back to 100%
Set a duration time for each frame, and your done.

But like I said due to the number of images in each file (10) the file sizes are huge.

I usually use imageready.... just drop 'em in a folder import folder as frames and pic a time.  I like the fazing better though..

If your using PhotoShop, it's not a button it's a slide in the upper right hand corner of the layer window.
