Jackyl comes to WI

I guess they been up here several times. I just never had the opportunity to go see them.
Jesse James Dupree, lead singer of Jackyl, also owner of the Full Throttle Saloon, and his boys came to Louisburg, WI. last night.





They said there was 2500 people there, but it was laid out very well, it didnt seem like 2500.
There was even some trashy woman for Baxter

They been around for what seems like forever, Todd.  Started in the early 90's, they are a mixture of hard, heavy and southern rock, all in one.
They got CD's in every store across the globe, and they do a lot of tours which make them real popular.
In fact they they hold two Guinness Book of World Records for  "The Hardest Working Band in Rock 'N' Roll" for performing 100 shows in 50 days as well as 21 shows in 24 hours.

I enjoyed that Reality show the Full Throttle Saloon did last year. Ole' Jesse James and Mike Ballard act like they are going to kill each other at times. I think Jesse James really does hate Ballards old lady. 
I guess it would be rough to make your whole years money in just a week at the Sturgis Bike Rally. 

I had a cousin go to the rally this year and he said Uncle Ted was there. I think Molly Hatchet was there too, but can't remember. He lives just west of there in Wyoming. He said it was good, but I'm betting he was so drunk that he doesn't even remember it, so I am not going to quote anything he said as gospel. 

I wish I could have been there with ya Jimbo, I bet it was quite a show.  Did you see that mad man let himself be shot out of a cannon last year? He is extreme.

Funny you mentioned Jackyl. The youth rally our ministry is promoting features two of Jackyl's founding members. Jimmy Stiff, the former lead guitar player for Jackyl now has a christian band called Apprehended Ones. Tom Bettini, the original base player also has a christian band called Preacher's Wife, they too will be at our rally. This is the first this these two have shared a stage since they left Jackyl.

They will be playing at the Upstate Youth Rally 2011 in Pickens South Carolina on October 15.

We also have another TV icon that will be there, "the Russian Nightmare", Nikita Koloff will be the guest speaker.
