I thought this morning I would try to make something special....so I have spent several hours making something I think was fun....I was inspired by some of the work with cow horn I have been seeing (Hi Brandon)....so I thought I would try to "Marry" some cow horn and some of my Osage....I ended up with a "Bumble-Bee"...it is a piece of blonde Osage, in an enclosed reed configuration.....mated to a cow horn mouth piece...I spent a lot of time on this call.....little thing such as under cutting the band below the lanyard groove.......VERY thinly ( to be this thin, it MUST be centered almost perfectly)....and I was so lucky, it has an almost seamless fit between the horn and wood.....The horn contains a JC reed sleeve and reed...all is turned and finished/sealed, inside and out.....signed and dated...I thought ya'll might like to see it....if you are interested, lemme know....if not, I will be most happy to keep it myself.......

Making the mouth piece from a piece of black cow horn......

Joe,

Cow horn and Osage and you call it a Bumble-Bee.  I think it should be a Coage, maybe a Cowage, or even an Osow.  But I guess Bumble-Bee works too.  It is a good looking call and one that I sure has a "stinging" sound to it.

Moo, buzz,
