He slammed it pretty hard...and it took a little bit of strategy and patience to safely land him. 
I mean hooked in the side and all like that your dragging a lot of resistance through the water. Now add in the fact that he's kicking around trying to fight back You see what I'm sayin?

Well...yes Slag, but not by choice. It was more by accident.
I was putting him on my stringer when the metal strip on the end wouldnt fit in his gill and it ripped his head off instead. The remains fell back into the river in the process
