Kids are also getting suspended for playing cops and robbers and using fingers as guns. One stude nt suspended for a paper gun.

That's just ridiculous.  What a waste of time and money. 
The school officials involved should be removed and the parents of the kid pressing the whole issue should be handed the fees for the attorneys.

As the old saying goes "No cure for stupidity" I hope the Parents can file a lawsuit for the torment the school put this poor little girl through, where has common sense gone to?cc
