The other day I was planning on ordering some ammo online. Well until the lady told me the shipping cost(what a rip off). So today I went to a near by store that sold ammo. They had a few boxes so all was good. Got to talking about puma sightings with the store owner. Turned out he told me of some sightings last yr & the yr before. In the same area near where I found the large tracks. If all of this recent info is legit. I think I might have a decent chance, finally.

Jim, Do you know of a good off the shelf tanning kit? Or a home remedy, if a person wanted to tan their own hide? Thanks

My opinion will be a lil biased on that because I had such a history with one chemist, and never risked straying out to try too many other products.
Ben asked the same thing in a different thread. and like I told him, when I was in business I bought every chemical I ever used right from Bruce Rittel in Taunton Massachusetts. Founder and Owner of Rittels Tanning Supplies. He eventually began selling his products through large taxidermy outfits, like McKenzie, Van Dykes, Wasco, etc.
And I've been told he sold out years later to Rhineharts, which is a taxidermy supply and school.
Here's a link to their page where they have put together individual kits, and I see they are also selling all his chemicals bulk also.

You cant go wrong with any Rittel products. I used them for close to 15 years without a lick of trouble.
