My 2013 Ky buck

I hunted everyday for the last week and saw several deer over 80 different bucks but all small, The rut was in hard and had a lot of chasing, I watched this deer enter the field 1/2 hour before dark fri at 600 yrds but he never made it to me and it got dark. I hit the woods early this morning and saw several doe and turkeys along with a nice coyote. At 8oclock here he comes around the hill! I couldn't stop him and had to make a trotting shot at 225 yrds he ran about 50 yrds and went down just out of site

I thought I had missed and went down to see

and there he was laying just out of sight. He has a realy different rack and was exceptional for a 8 point, he didn't have any teeth left and had a very gray face, I realy thought he had a lot more points the night before but at 400 yrds in low light even with good binos he was hard to judge.

Thanks !! Im very happy with him just cant make my mind up if hes going to the taxidermist or not. Hey Ed could that be the one you saw on our first stand? Only about 1 mile from there.
