Had a physical check up around 2wks ago. My Doc is an avid deer & turkey hunter. Topic went from my health to lions. Doc told me this last Spring he talked his wife into hunting with him. They were sitting in their blind. Some time later a wolf appeared from the timber. Staring at his decoy. Then a car came donw the lane & the wolf took off. They were on public land near the river bottom. He said it was around 2+ -3x times larger than any coyote he had ever seen. He said the coat was silvery colored.

I told him this last Winter. I found one pr & a single wolf track. Heading down the frozen river. In the same general area. Those wolf tracks were not found on the same day. I did take pics of them, but lost them on a PC virus. Anyway, quit interesting to me. Would love to get one on camera.

The opportunity is definitely there. As your neighboring state, our DNR has allowed us to harvest a 250 wolf average each year and this year another 156 from Oct to February.
