I just read on another site that Robin Williams died this morning. They said it he was depressed and suspect it was suicide.

So long to a very funny man. Incredibly talented in so many roles. He will be missed.

as to his suicide.... Even Rodney Dangerfield was on suicide watch for a lot of his life. Even the ones that make us laugh the most are not immune to depression.
Don't bring shame to our sport.

He died for dipshits too.

Coroner investigators suspect "the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia," according to a statement from the Marin County, California, Sheriff's Office.

What a tragedy.

He was a funny guy i really like that he made movies for kids. I didnt care for his political views but he sure made me laugh.

O Captain! My Captain!
Rise up and hear the bells.
Rise up, for you the flag is flung,
for you the bugle trills.

Damn, just damn.... I'm genuinely saddened by this. It seems odd to actually feel loss for someone who wasn't even "real to me", in the sense that I obviously didn't know him personally as he was just an actor on the TV and movie screen. But I loved his work, and actually feel a sense of loss.

I wish he could have really known how much he was beloved, and the happiness and laughter he brought to millions.

RIP Mr. Williams

I find when I am the most cheerful and entertaining to others I am really depressed and use others laughter to cheer me up. I feel his pain and  understand.

Jonathan Winters and Robin Williams were two of the greatest.  And now they are both gone.   RIP Robin.

I'd like to think Robin Williams and Jonathan Winters are together once again, this time performing for the ultimate audience.

I really liked his spontaneous stuff; he was amazing with his quick adaptation to different characters and setups.  I actually liked his serious roles in movies even better, especially his roles in Good Will Hunting, Good Morning Vietnam, and Dead Poets Society.  We will never see his equal.
