A cow moose with one calf finally showed up. Also another cow, but without a calf. Of course, the wolves are around too.

I watched a video tonight of a moose running across a road in the rain. It slipped and it's ass end dropped to the road. An oncoming car smacked it broad side in the middle of a brake peddle mashing skid, and that moose flew up in the air like a field goal attempt gone wrong.
The car was... Good Night Irene.

There were 6 moose hit/killed by vehicles a couple of weeks ago. 5 bulls and one cow. No mention of the vehicles or occupants.
