Everybody on vacation?

Not to complain, but it has been very quiet here the last week. Just saying.

Just got back from a weekend scouting elk and deer with my son and his son, who is an Idaho resident.  Been fishing quite a bit for king salmon, plus my internet service is super slow lately, so it is cumbersome to post when I am at the computer.  Tried just now to load a couple of pics and it is apparently too slow to load a picture. I think my kids are trying to keep me busy since the loss of my wife.  That's a good thing, and I can always say "No." Yep, the forum has been quiet, but it's a busy time of year for lots of folks.

Been pretty humdrum around my house. Too hot to go do anything after working in it all day, and therefore no cool stories or pics to share.
Weather finally broke and boy does it feel good.
Got out this weekend and took the Granddaughter fishing. She stole the show.

Busy at work and family, sweltering heat and humidity and canadian wildfire smoke, been catching up on my classic TV watching, Gunsmoke, The Lone Ranger, Mayberry, Paladin.
