THO Game Calls

I think someone should add those sounds to the Predator Hunting Primer list.   A lot of guys will find them useful and productive.

Thank You Joe for posting them for everyone.

Joe,
I don't mean to hijack your thread, but since you went through the trouble of putting up some sound clips for us , I think you should also tell us which call made each sound and where we can get the calls if anyone is interested. I think it is great that the sounds clips can be used by all here ,but some of us would like to be able to try making that sound on a hand call . What better way to practice making these calls than by using the same call that you made the sound with. JMHO.

You didn't hijack anything my friend.....

Joe,
The JackDaddy Clip was a good one.  You had great control and rythm with no breaks showing what your call can do. I really liked it alot.  Score 92 out of 100 Which would be a contender with the best.

The closed reed call had good tones but I've heard you do a lot better.  I could tell that you closed off the end creating too much back pressure causing the reed to mute and strain. This made rhythm hard to find.  Score 70 out of 100

Try this with the closed reed: Rather than closing off the end with the hand, hold the call 45 degrees downward toward your feet and roll it up to normal position as you partially close off the end with a finger or 2.  This will do 2 things.  It will cause you to purse your lips a little but will  lessen the strain clearing up the tone and also create the raspy terror I think you were trying to achieve.
