My first antler call

Bills Custom Calls

I like It,but I have always wondered about leaving the small nub off the side like that.The call looks good but that is just another sharp object if the hunter should fall.

It looks darn good to me.  Looks like you did a pretty good job of smoothing out the inside of the antler and you added a hold for a lanyard tie.  The little tine could be a finger hook or a sight so that you can get the sound headed the direction that you want.    :wink:

I like it  ;yes;  & the tine on the side doesn't bother me because I don't fall nearly as much as Bill does.  :nono:  Of course you could have stuck a little squeaker reed in it too.  :shrug:
Maybe it's just me, but I'd have trouble putting my lips on the mouth piece.   :innocentwhistle:   Ya might try something a little different there.  :wink:
