Here is a howler that I made this morning from a black and brass pearl blank that I cast. It is voiced with an acrylic Yellerdog toneboard. I am pleased with this resin so far. It is not brittle at all. I can take the closed reed call that I posted pics of and throw it on the ground hard enough that it will bounce back up about waist high without as much as a chip. If you hit it that hard on one of the sharper edges on the call it will make a small indentation, but still no chips or cracks.

Nice looking call.  It sounds like you have found the formula for the old "super balls" - throw them down and watch out.

I am just waiting on my mold right now. I cast this one in a large prescription pill bottle, but it is actually too large and is wastful. As soon as the mold gets here I will start casting some to sell.
