Heck, he had me as well.  I looked at the call, thought that it looked good, then looked at Jim's post, went back and looked at the call again, and back to Jim's post.  I thought maybe Troy had forgotten to put the reed in or something, but was also thinking that could have been solved pretty easily.  So, I was right there with Troy wondering what Jim was looking for.

You guys arent going to believe this.....ahhh maybe you will. Stopped at one of the riverside pubs the other day after ice fishing for some lunch and guess what was hanging from one of the ceiling beams?

Duck and Goose calls made out of those aluminum bottles you's were posting. I asked the bar tender if they were functional or just conversation pieces. She said they were fully functional, and that some local retired guy made em and brought em in.

They had a price tag of $14.95 on em.
My brother piped in and said that he picked one up just out of curiosity a few months ago, that he had seen in the diner across the street, and made by the same guy.
So I thought to myself, cool...when we get back to his place I'm gonna snap a pic of it, blow it a few times and then come tell you all about this thing.
Got back to his place and I asked him about the call.

He says, "Ohh I gave that to one of the neighbors kids that was down here for the weekend fishing".
