I aint been slacking.......

I have been working on a new, one sided box call that is very small and loud. Made these for a friend and wanted to share. With Christmas a coming I haven't had much time for pics of all I been doing but I hope to have some of these new calls for sale before turkey season.

I do need......... a tone board jig
Some distress voices
And deer tone boards if anyone wants to sell any.

Bills got a distress voice. I swear I heard it that day he was sneaking around the back forty, following Chris and the chainsaw with the camera.

I like one sided box calls a lot. I've got a Lynch Foolproof (that's what attracted me to it in the first place

) I've had for over 20 years that is hands down my best box call. If I ever lose or break that call I am going to cry a river.

7 1/4" Long at the lid and 1 1/2" Wide by 2 1/4" high.............fits nicely in a shirt pocket.
I saw a how its made episode on Eastern outdoors (Linked to my site) and asked about it and a fellow named Bill Hoover makes some a lot like it so I being the turkey hunter bought one and found it very high pitched. so I played with the size and such till I found what I think will be a very popular call and there is one out there soon to be two that has called and killed so I know she works.....I just gotta make myself one and hunt with it.....

Nice batch of calls Al.
I like the looks of the box call.
I gotta admit, I haven't used a one
sided box call before. May have to look into one sometime.
