Coco Laminate

Bills Custom Calls

I had a couple short pieces of coco laying around so I thought I would put them together,seems like I always end up with that dark ring when I glue one up so I will just call it a rookie ring  :laf:





And here is a piece of walnut that needed turned also

 :laf: @ the rookie ring!! I take it they were too short for tenons. What would be nice would be an accent piece glued between them. Something like a 1/4" of maple. Just a thought.

You can tell it's from 2 different sticks but it will look real nice on a lanyard.   :yoyo:

That Walnut is so wild it even shows up on pens Al.  :yoyo:

I have one piece of fancy burl left...cut it my self years ago.....I am afraid of messing it up... :sad3:

I have a few pieces of walnut left like that,I was gonna make an open reed out of the same blank but I got it to
thin and sanded through it  :nono:

The coco call does have a 3/4 inch tennon
