Weird storm clouds

Had to make my routine road trip to meet the ex, and get my girls for the weekend, tonight. (4 hour round trip)

They were calling for wicked storms but it was an awesome day all day.
About 8:00 we finally get off the interstate and one side of the road is blacker then the ace of spades, and the other side is the soothing setting sun.

Weird.

And it got a whole lot weirder real fast. I had to pull over and snap some pics as it looked like it was eating the earth away as it came across the road as low as it did.

That is a spooky looking cloud. I'd have second thoughts about driving thru it too.

way cool, I just deleted a couple off my phone that were exactly like you'd taken. It was like a mountain of clouds floating through, first time I'd see anything like it !!
