While sitting out on the back patio enjoying a nice leisurely breakfast I noticed some movement on a makeshift trail in our back yard.  A quick glace told me Wiley was also looking for breakfast.

Once he noticed me he decided to leave the area.

Headed out the gate and over to the neighbors - they have chickens, ducks and geese.   :laf:

Once again, great photos!  I for one, never get tired of seeing what you post up.  Here where I live, I have a better chance of seeing a bear than a coyote.

Thank you Dave.  The Good Lord truly smiled upon us when we bought this place many, many years ago.  We have lions, bears, javelina, fox, ringtail cats, coatimundi and a whole lot more that visit our property some on a regular basis.  Some we only know they are there because we see their tracks in the morning.

Now thats cool ! Thanks for posting it.

Thanks for sharing with us, John.  Why didn't you invite old Wiley C. over for breakfast?   :laf: :eyebrownod:

Great pics... again JohnP! Really enjoy your pics you must keep a camera handy to catch 'em like that!  :yoyo:
Yotehntr calls... put something pretty on your lips

Al - Save up your nickles and dimes and jump on an airplane next fall (2010).  All it will cost ya is airfare and a license, we'll put ya up and even feed ya.  I'm recovering from some major surgery on my feet and this season is probably going to be a bust.  Had the operation in July and I'm still not walking very good.

Yotehntr - There are two things that are always on the patio whenever I'm outside - a rifle and a camera.  I normally have breakfast, lunch and diner out there.  If'n you ever seen our backyard you would soon realize the many opportunities to use one or the other.

I'll echo everyone else and say great pictures!   :congrats:   I like looking at them.  Thanks for posting.  Hope you bounce back from your surgery soon.

JohnP

Just thought I'd give ya'll a snapshot of our back 40.  We have more critters up there than you can imagine, to include the two legged kind.  I have a few pictures of a mountain lion taking a nap up there.  If I can find them I'll post them.  Since I'm recovering from surgery and can't get out you'll just have to get bored looking at these damn pictures.
