Coyote Kate & I spent some time at the Great Trail Festival. A rendezvous reenactment where interested parties camp & dress w/in a certain period of time.
Anyhoo I made my first slide show & now attempting to put it on here for you all to see.  Please dear Lord let this work!

Very nice. Were proud of you :yoyo:

That looks a lot like the one they have here, but I think 90% of the over nighters are in Teepee's. It funny because you can see cars and trucks from 4 surrounding states going through town with Teepee poles roped to their roof tops.

How close could you get to the Buffalo? We didnt have any of those.

Wonderful pics of all the stuff I wish I was doing but am getting to see regardless.  I watched a buffalo hide sell for way to much at an auction this spring :wo:.
I say what I think not think what I say.

V V,

Slide show looks great and it was fun to see some of the fur trading era again.  I used to go to The Log Cabin at Lodi for shooting supplies and parts.

Silencer

A shucks fellers ... it was the least I could do, & the least the better. :laf:

Jerry: The Log Cabin at Lodi has a tent there selling all kinds of new antique stuff, & then there are the books. Can't believe CK or I didn't get any books this time. :doh2:

There is a muzzle loader club there that actually make M/Ls there. Shoulda gotten a pix of that too. :doh2:
