I can finally get on this board!!! My computer for some reason hated this board , it wouldn't let me on but now it does

My boy Bow and I got out Saturday afternoon to do some calling. First stand we got one called up but never got a shot. The second stand we got this big male called in to 436 yards. He hung up because of some cows that were between us. My pup never seen him. I took the shot after waiting for about 25 minutes. Bang Flop...
My pup found him for us...

436 yards not my farthest but is for my Kimber. The big male weighed right at 35 pounds.

We were on the move to our next stand and came across a big ole bore coon. I let my pup out and she went to town on this thing!! She pert near had the thing killed before we got down to them. She was giving that coon hell! I have never seen a dog be that agressive! I let the boy shoot him. She kept after him and I got some pics...

Here's the boy and his second coon he has ever shot...

Kimber(pups named after my rifle :eyebrownod:_)working him over!!

She drug him out of the brush and worked on him some more...

We had a blast saturday! We were gonna go out Sunday but it was way too windy so we went fishing instead.

Boy that's a big coon!  Did ya by chance put him on the scale?  A 35 pound coyote out here would be a big coyote.  I would venture to say average size is 25,maybe 27 pounds.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

Good to hear from you again and thanks for the pics, Lucas.  Are you still shooting that .204?   Whatever you're using, it was a heck of a shot.   :congrats:

You can't kill 'em from the recliner!!

JohnP :  The coon weight 24 1/2 lbs. A 35 lbs yote here is big too, though I did shoot a 42 pounder 5 years ago.

Semp :  Yep I still shoot a 204.

Silencer :  My boy is half my size already, he is 8 and wears a size 10 in mens boots!

Thanks guys for your comments!!!

Good story and pics that I just saw :highclap:.  Big coyote anywhere I'm a thinking and a heck of a shot :whew:.  Even better is that rather huge looking coon that the lad got.  Feel proud you deserve too.
I say what I think not think what I say.

Good shot Smith. :highclap: What kind of dog is that? I've been taking my Yellow Blackmouth Cur out with me.

WeedWalker,
She is a Mountain cur, came out of Rexburg Idaho. She is 9 monts old. I am getting a full sister (puppy) to her in a couple weeks.
