i didnt see the 125 before i asked that question what type of gun, know 17 hm, but maker and model???
I am in va (hence the name) so all s pretty close for me too, If  i ever see one  . but sounds like would do the job and thata nice hole for 125yds

No it wasn't a 17 hmr... it's a 17 Remington... it's a 222  mag. case (what a 223 is made from) necked down to 17 cal.  That little 17 cal 25 gr pill is running at 3920 fps... a real screamer.      The 17 hmr runs around 2250 fps with a 17 gr pill if I remember right?  Not enough pumpkin for coyote sized game IMO.  The gun is a Cooper model 21....

i ddint think from what i read about 17 hmr that was going to be makin that size hole at that distance , that is  a beautiful pattern on that , nice iron any ideas where get one
