We have Fishing Spiders in the area as well. Big hairy suckers. One bit me on the shoulder when I was a kid. I was in a "short" sleeping bag. Sun was coming up & I felt something crawling on my shoulder. Maybe 4" away from my L-eye, there it was. Instinct said smash, so I did w/o thinking. Sucker stuck me with both fangs. No to pleasant I might add.

Yup poor lighting. Plus it's soaked with carb cleaner. Shes still a little wet.

Got bit on the back by one of these bad boys last yr in our house. House centipede, they have 4 poison mandible/fangs. Watched a predator insect show awhile back. Shown one of these fighting a large Mantis. I had money on the Mantis, we both lost. These suckers are fast. Referred to as the "Cheetah" in the insect World.

Carb cleaner :alscalls: :alscalls:

Them centipedes freak me out. I had one run across the floor a couple months ago and it was the size of a bratwurst... I swear to god it had a Starling in it's clutches.  :sad3:

Yeah carb cleaner, it was handy at that moment. Spider kicked for near 1/2 hr. Tough sucker.

If ya cant find carb cleaner a shoe works pretty well and they dont kick a bit afterwards.
Don't bring shame to our sport.

He died for dipshits too.

Good 'ol WD40 works pretty well as an insect killer.    I've been doing battle with carpenter bees which are trying to turn the bottom of my utility trailer in to swiss cheese.   They are big nasty looking suckers.

Wasps don't necessarily die easy either. If you hold one down with a leaf strainer it takes almost 5 minutes to drown one in a back yard pool.
