Finally had both my boys home for deer season this year. First time since the mid 2000s. Brandon, my oldest, who hasn't been able to hunt for probably over 10 years, had limited time so he took the first little 8 he seen. We worked it up, froze it, then he tossed it in a cooler with dry ice and checked it as luggage to get it back to Gilbert AZ.

Josh, aka Big Dawg, held out and at the 11th hour so to speak whacked this nice 8. It was last shooting light on the last day. Inside spread of 17 5/8". Not great but pretty respectable around here.

Fine bucks and a fine time with sons!  You can't beat that!

They got some nice looking bucks and I am sure you were happy to have them both back hunting with you.

Absolutely! It's a rare occasion to have them both home during hunting season.
