Rambling through Nevada, one morning as it got light to see I pulled out of a motel parking lot and met a coyote trotting toward me down the middle of main street.  He was a spindly, leggy young coyote born in April or May and he had a kitten dangling from his mouth.  He was doing a getaway prance with his prize swinging back and forth to his gait.  He crossed 20 feet in front of my bumper.

I roamed state and county roads, vast deserts and mountains, a few small towns like Tonapah, all new to me.  Port Angeles, WA to Payson, AZ and back.  3464 miles.  Loved it.

I saw a red fox once trotting along with a black-and-white cat hanging from its mouth.

Hawks Feather

All I can say is that is one GOOD cat.

I was squirrel hunting years ago and saw something white in a tree a ways off.  :confused: Looking through my binoculars I saw on owl with a chicken he had obviously snatched from a nearby pen.  ;yes;

Everybody loves chicken :biggrin: we have a lot of owls around the house, pretty cool birds and very vocal especially in the spring time. I really get them talking in the spring with my Palmer's hoot flute owl call.

I seen an Eagle snatch a fish from the river one day when I was out in the yak. He took it up in a nearby tree and shredded it. I had a beautiful view but the Gopro wouldnt quite cut it with no zoom .
