NNNNnnnice!
They have a Rendezvous here every June over in Prairie DuChein. Mostly fur trader, and Indian stuff since thats what this part of the Driftless region is famous for.
It's absolutely huge. Hundreds of teepee's, native art stands, civil war reenactments etc.
I quit going cause thats like 300 people too many for me. :laf:

The one you mentioned is pretty famous I would love to go to that.

Hawks Feather

Looks like a great time. Wish I was there.

Funny camping story. They were camping up at the actual camp and the fellas in the picture slept inside the cabin and the brother was determined to sleep in a tent out in the yard. Right when it got dark out a pack of coyotes let loose a wicked blast of howling and yipping. The boy came flying in the cabin with all his sleep gear and said I'm not staying out there!  :alscalls:

Okanagan

Love it!  My son climbed on top of me and stayed there all night no matter how I turned during our first campout.

I remember the first time I heard coyotes let loose one night coon hunting with my Dad on the Snake River.  I said that it sounded like 15 coyotes and my dad replied, "No, just two."

When I was growing up we didn't have coyotes, ticks, possums, or turkey vultures or wild turkeys for that matter.

KySongDog

Looks like a great time. Than one pic kinda looks like Jeremiah Johnson.  :laf:  :highclap:
