Brent,do you know the admission fees? it would probably be me and my 2 Boys IF I get down there to the Fairgrounds?
so do they cover ALL trapping ? and are you the only one giving a Predator calling seminar ???

As far as I know I am the only one giving a calling seminar there. But there will be other speakers on Trapping and most of the time they have a biologist there as well. The cover allot of trapping topic's and there will be some very good trappers there to get info from, and allot of supplies as well.

We will camp I would say unless they have a cheap hotel close by some were, but it would haft to be close. To far for me to drive every day. Looks like about 5 hrs for me.

You have to camp at one of these events to get the full effect

They are a great time and some of the nations top trappers do the demos. I have seen demos at these things from turtle trapping to coyote trapping and everything in between. I don't know what this particular show will offer, but that is half the fun of going...you just never know.

I think I will probably be heading down for this show, it only looks to be a couple hours for me. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get there until Friday afetrnoon. I'll bring a few calls with me, but I doubt if I'll set up since I'll be getting there so late. I'd be happy to hang out with ya a your booth for a while. Save me a spot at your camp sight and a place to set a couple chairs around the campfire. We can get our howlers out after a few drinks and begin the practice sessions at say midnight or so. That oughtta get some people stirred up

There is a Bar right outside of 1 gate and a Domino's Pizza Joint right outside of the other gate,,you guys will be closer to the BAR than you will be the Pizza shop

and ya MIGHT want to wear a Ballistic vest if your gonna stir the hillbillies after midnight

And there is a strip joint about 2 blocks up from the BAR entrance,,I have NEVER been in the tittie Bar because there are to many OTHER BARS that the girls put on the show for FREE ! shit,,now that I seen that in writing makes me wonder why I quit drinking

damn I had fun when I was running around

BUT I dont "HEAL" like I use to,so its probably a good thing I quit

Hamer is closer to the Fairgrounds than me so he may know more than me of the area ??? Vv is close and Bill isnt REAL FAR away

It might be a better "showing" if you haven't been drinking. But then again, after several beers anything looks good. That might be the reason my limit is 3.

you could be EXACTLY RIGHT

BUT my Limit is 0,,I am the type that IF I have 1 beer,,then its ON,,because I CANT drink a certain number,,if I have 1 then Im drinking until "I'M GOOD"

I usually have the oldest boy on SPEED DIAL if I go anywhere and drink,,that way he can come give me a ride home,,or come BAIL ME OUT of Jail :shck:
BUT maybe since I am OLD NOW maybe I could stop at 10,,,er uh I mean 2 :biggrin:of course I think the BIG reason I quit drinking is because I was TIRED of feeling like hell all the next day !!!

like I said,,when I drank it wasnt just "a few" it was 10-15 ,,I really DONT miss those days

Thats not a bad thing. I was in charge of putting on the '04 PTA rendezvous and spent half the time on crutches from a severly sprained ankle...they still tease me about that and say I was dancing on tables

BUT I forgot about the hospital being there,,Hmmmm :wo:it is central to ALL these things so it sounds to me that they should have it here EVERY YEAR

I have never been down to the coon dog trials, but have some friends that go to all the major ones. I have ran a few rabbit dog trials in the past. And a few Bird dog trials. They were all fun and I always had a very good time!

Speaking of camping, do they have a shower house there at the fair grounds? Looks like I will be there for 3 nights.
