Damn FINE Job,,why does that Burl wood remind me of Africa ??? I have been wondering WHY this wood "screams" Africa to me ever since you sent me those pics in an e-mail last week   PLUS,,I am ADDICTED to Maple wood !
So I knew I would like them as soon as I heard Maple,,BUT after viewing ALL the great calls on this board I have become ADDICTED to about 2,000 types of wood now  maple must be a "GATEWAY" Wood

Bob I picked the maple beause it was light colored and I hoped there would be more birdseye in it

  I gotta disagree with ya there Bill. I've sat across from Bow at my own kitchen table 

He walked in my front door wrapped in a Stetson and classy a trench coat. Unless I wanted to get up on the table... I had to look straight up to meet his eyes...... I knew I was gonna behave.
