So i take it that you need two state licenses if hunting both sides??  Where will everyone be?  Kentucky or tennesse?

At the hunt last February I nearly ran over a cat crossing the Trace just south of Hillman Ferry campground.  Yep, there are cats in LBL for sure.

Bushmaster you are correct, you have to buy a license for what ever state your planning on hunting. I have hunted both sides and called up coyotes in each state. For the last two years I have hunted the Kentucky side and will most likely hunt there this year too.

You will also need your LBL permit in addition to your state(s) licenses. Last year there were a fair number of folks hunting both sides. I got both licenses for both states last year and will probably do the same this year..... never know who might be willing to drag ya along to a stand or two.

Jim go ahead and add me the the I will be there list! Desided to wait one more year for the shot show!

As for the cats! The LBL is a very good spot to call a cat! We have called a cat in every year except for last year. And several Fox as well. I been thinking about hunting the TN side this year and targeting cats. I have never hunted the TN side so it should be fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
