I haven't posted any pictures for a while and since I finished some calls this morning wanted to share them with you.

First is a picture of six Coyote Howlers. The woods from left to right are: Sycamore, Osage Orange, Walnut, Colorwood, Colorwood and Canary.

The second picture is of some pots for friction calls without any slate or glass installed. The top row has (l-r) Black Locust, Red Cedar, and Osage Orange.
Middle row (l-r) Sassafras, Canary and Sycamore
Bottom Row (l-r) Zebrawood and Butternut

Thanks for looking.

If I get time and can get everything to work right, I will make a sound file. You must remember, I am not a predator hunter and use these calls for locating gobblers during spring turkey season. Tom Bechtel said they sound pretty good, if you know who he is.

Nice looking calls as always Gene. I love those closed reed howlers.  You always make great looking calls.

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
