Oooohhhh :doh2:. Guess I'll call five and see if he wants to drive down then
:nono: Mr. Jim :rolleye: Hey, I saw an airey plain fly over once.
pitw,
There may be another one in Ky that's closer but I know in Tennessee... Nashville.
I would guesstimate, with traffic, about a 1&1/2 to 2 hour drive from the southern entrance of LBL, then another 30 minutes to Wranglers campground, that is unless you are riding with CCP... then it's only a 15 minute ride. :laf:

Think back to when you saw that airey plain. Weren't you in the service at the time and stationed on an Air Force base?
Jerry

Thanks for that coyotehunter_1 and I won't be riding with CCP then as I kinda/sorta like looking at the country side instead of screaming and such :laf:. What address would I put into google driving directions for the wrangler campground? Hate to bother you all but I'm interested.
Jerry,
Nope... We only had hot air balloons back then.
pitw ,
From Nashville, try the Dover Inn (Dover, Tn.). It's right across the road from the southern entrance of LBL. The Trace is the main road running north/south through LBL. Wranglers campground is in Ky, pretty easy to find... at least in the daylight.
Edit: You thinking about driving down?

I am officially done work until May 1 as my last customer to pay, paid up today :yoyo: and i've been reading this LBL stuff to the wife and she said today "*&(% off to the hunt as you want to meet those guys more than sleep on the couch". I may not make it this year but you can put as much money on it as you want that I'll be coming one time to do what she said. I kinda/sorta like to plan some before heading out so I'm asking questions and appreciate your answers. I wouldn't come to hurt a coyote as I'd hate to take one away from you guys  but I'd sure enough like to see a Walnut or Oak tree .
He'll be sick of looking at trees. :eyebrownod:
If you make it to Nashville Barry, I guarantee that someone will be there to pick you up. And you can be sure there will be a bunk for you at Wranglers. In fact, I'll pick you up, and you can stay in cabin A25.
Pat
Wow thanks 101 thats quite an offer :bowingsmilie:.
Jim that link is in my favorites under a new folder[learnt that much now] called LBL and it never ceases to amaze me what you can do with these F'N geek machines. :yoyo: I want to thank you for enriching my bleak existence on this planet :bowingsmilie:.
I could only so far get from Metiskow,AB,Canada to Kentucky on the directions thingy and it's only 1,932 miles one way and 2,400 miles if I go the other it showed. I'll be thinking hard on this one.

Well guys I'm leaning [actually almost fell] towards coming but there are a couple things that bother me. First I have been on both sides of pranks for the new guy and you boys look dangerous :hahaha:. Second I don't own or have the ability to make a chasity belt :doh2:. Other than that the wife has told me to enjoy sex and travel, Donny simply said "opportunity".
Not to worry Barry.......Most all of us are Married so we can go a VERY long time without sex........And the pranks are not for you.....They are for Bop........ ...........And you will be in close proxy to me so we can plan the adventure together.... :eyebrownod: :laf: :laf:
come on down Barry you can call some yotes in for us
I have a Ky hunting license is there enough hunting going on in the southern part for me to verify getting a TN license?
Everybody scatters out pretty good. The coyote numbers are very good all over the LBL. So its up to you if you want to hunt the Tenn. portion. And there is plenty of room for all. JImmie

That wuz probably the DEA lookin' for your special crop, Jimmie. :eyebrownod:
Hope you can make it, Barry. That would be cool! :yoyo:
Hey Barry, A 5 day non-resident hunting liscense is only $40 and a LBL user permit is $20. If you want to hunt I'm sure one of us has a gun you can use so you don't have to mess with customs. :wo:
Wouldn't be hard for 'em to find now Semp. Those loggers are opening things up something awful
Just let somebody knwo what your favorite medicine for coyotes is and somebody has an extra Pit. Jimmie
Barry you could always fly into Akron/Canton airport I will pick you up and then you could ride the rest of the way with Kurtis and I
Then you would get to see a couple of new states on the way......... :yoyo:

You guys are still adding states to the union , what are they called .
If you look at some of the new quarters coming out.........we are adding more than states........the Virgin Islands, District of Columbia and Porto Rico are on three of them I got today at the store.......
I keep wanting us to just go ahead and take over Mexico. At least then we can start taxing all these illegals and they would be Americans then. :eyebrownod:
Well guys with much Hemming and a fair bit of Hawwing I am coming to the LBL hunt with 5shots. I ain't much of a flyer so have decided to pick up Art and drive across your country. Can't see nothing from a plane anyway and "gravity works" so being a fat sucker I don't try to defy that law much. I want to thank you all for your help and especially Pat for the offer of a bed :yoyo: :yoyo: and everything else. I will be needing input on what to bring as I'm greener at this than pooh out of a yearling heifer on fresh grass in the spring. Does anyone have a bunk that 5 can get?
I'll not be hunting as I don't need too but thanks for the offer of guns. :yoyo:
What does anyone need from Canada[I'll not bring anything amphibian related]?

Barry,
I'll have a microwave, crock-pot and two burner Coleman stove. I believe there are grills at each cabin, but if not I may bring a grill as well. Also, there is a restaurant on the campground that will be open at least a couple of the days we are there.
Pat
We wont go hungry........ :nono:......Bring Spirits and refreshments that you like........and Bail money..... :laf:
