I woke up this morning not feeling the greatest but heck at my age it is good to just wake up

By the time I was ready to leave for work I was really starting to feel like something has really got a hold on me but good

I tell Chris I must have a flu bug she said (quoting me ) SUCK IT UP and get to work

Well thats what you tell us all the time and she is right so out the door I go.

At about 6:40 I tell the boss I will try and make the day I can't remember ever being this sick I take some pills for the back door trots and some pepto and by 8:30 I am clocked out and on my way home
I can feel myself getting worse as time goes by

I wouldn't wish this on anybody

Did that 12 days ago and it was not any fun at all as my belly button hurt for 4 days

Happened to me about a month ago, I have been told I am full of $h/t before, after that I believe it. It only lasted about 24 hours but it was not a fun experience.

I feel for ya Bill........ I had a head cold a week or so ago..... Then got sicker..... Ran a fever for a day or two then the GOT TO GOES!! And the worst was .... Every time I sneezed my back would hurt real bad......Till I almost.....

Feel better buddy........ Only time will take care of it........

This morning I thought I would have to get better to die but after some over the counter meds and sleeping most of the afternoon I really am starting to feel better

Bill,

Glad to read that you are starting to feel better. I have been spared (so far) but the kids and grandkids have all had this or something similar. One was laid up for about 5 days, but the rest have been laid up one day and then needed a couple more days to get to where they felt like normal. If Chris gets it, just ask her (very politely) to remember what she told you.

Had it a week ago. Lasted about 24 hurs and am still not rehydrated yet. I cut wood for two days afterwards and both day wound up stopping because of muscle cramps. So keep on drinking whatever is handy. I am finally starting to feel decent myself. Jimmie

I havent had anything like that for yearrrrrrrrs and (knock on wood) I dont want to.

I thought you were going to say you were having a mild heart attack. I've been worried about it myself since my Dad had his first one around my age.
I watch how much fatty foods I eat etc. I'm really paranoid and have no idea what it's going to feel like.

In fact a couple weeks ago I was talking to a guy at work about his from a few years ago asking questions etc....and he described just what you did minus the scoots.

I'm glad it wasnt in your case, and glad your pulling out of it, but you just keep it down there.

If somebody would have been here when I finally got up the steps yesterday morning I would have gone to hospital.

I did go to work today but only because I was feeling somewhat better then yesterday.I discovered that If I didn't eat or drink anything I would make it.I bought a bag of the Halls Defense and pretty much thats all I had today.

You can add some kind of croup to the list of goin arounds. Got it from my grandson the other day. Been coughing till my throat is sore.

At least my hydration problem is solved

I didn't get sick, but I got mixed nut particles under my partial & it got so sore that I couldn't wear my partial for a couple days ..... oh the pain!

Does that account for anything?

My mom had it once and my dad.my mom was going to pick me up from school and she did not know if she was going to make it. I had to make supper that night.

Wowzer !! I hope none of this is infectious, I got a virus once while on my computer and it took me three weeks to get rid of the dang thing. This ain't the same one I hope....

Okay everyone, get to feeling better real soon.

Wife has had the coughs since Thanksgiving. I guess I'm too danged onery to get it. (At least I hope I don't)
