...because he said "gay sex is not logical."

Are you kidding me? Is it logical to suspend someone from a TV show because they have American morals and values along with self respect, and believe in God.
I really want to find a video clip of his interview and they seem to have removed them all from the internet.

They even started a facebook page for it exactly ONE HOUR AGO, and it already has 1555 likes

I knew that was going to happen as soon as I read about it in the news today. I would almost think Phil Robertson doesn't care one way or another about that show. I think he would be fine living his life without being on TV.
Do not mess with the gay folks in this day and age! They are certainly more special than we "regular " folk!

As an example of them being special, in my company if your a same-sex couple and not married you can get health insurance if you are a heterosexual couple and not married you cannot get health insurance from the company. When I questioned human resources vice president (lesbian)about that and I stated that I thought it was prejudiced towards heterosexual couples she told me that different sex couples needed more protections than heterosexual couples.

This is also the case where my brother works at an Ivy League college. And he got the same explanation from their human resources department as I did. Sounds like a clear case of being separate but more equal to me.

I really like the duck Dynasty show but I wish the whole Robertson clan would tell them to shove it up there goose flutes and quit the show. That would hit them hard in their pocket books. I salute Phil Robertson, the last un-pc man in show biz!

KySongDog

I think the whole clan will tell 'em to shove it where the sun don't shine.  Sorta like A&E's gay pals do.    :alscalls:

FinsnFur

That would be pretty cool if they did walk. You know another network would pic them up and A&E would be left holding ...each other.

These sexual deviants are demanding recognition, acceptance, and respect. All these are earned. To me, as long as the LGBT lifestyle revolves around open licentiousness, I don't care to see or hear about it. Where is Phil's right to have an opinion and express it?

I wager this is going to backfire on A&E....

FOsteology

I'm not a fan of "reality" TV. In fact, I don't watch alot of television. I've seen a portion of maybe two or three episodes of Duck Dynasty.

Obviously, the premise behind this show from the beginning was to exploit the stereotypes associated with southern folk. Leftists try to make their racism, condensation, and hatred more subtle and less obvious. From what I've gathered, I believe they underestimated the intelligence of Phil the "redneck", and it's going to backfire!

Should be interesting to watch the fall out...

I think A&E needs Phil and Duck Dynasty more than Duck Dynasty needs A&E.  I too wish they walk out on A&E, although I know that a lot of folks enjoy the program.  I have sent  A&E an e-mail (aefeedback@aenet.com) telling them the without Phil I will not watch DD or any A&E program.  I will also take note of their sponsors and let them know that if Phil is not re-instated that I will not purchase any of their products.

I think it is time that the "silent majority" start being the LORD MAJORITY.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

Okanagan

Good for you.  They need to hear from a LOT of people.  They are the intolerant ones.

I also sent an e-mail to Wal-Mart asking them to stand with Phil R. and stand against the viciously intolerant attack by GLAAD.

This reminds me of the chic-fil-a incident. Im willing to bet that phil will be fine. I like the show and its one of the only shows i enjoy watching and look forward to seeing when its on for more reasons then i can explain those that watch it and dont get the show are most likely yuppies as phil puts it. Theres a whole bunch o guys just like phil out there that fill up america. The yuppies seen how country folk live and they dont get it.  Im willing to bet those gays dont understand the country way of life or would have a clue on how to survive if walmart wasnt down the road.

Liberals define "tolerance" the same way the Soviets defined "peace" -- the eradication of opposition.

If you change your beliefs to suit every group you are around that would make you a politician ,regardless what you believe the bible says homosexuals are sinners and that is what phil believes.

bambam

Amen. He blasted drunks and crooks too, but you don't hear an uproar from them, not yet anyway............. I'm sure the politicians will be having their say soon.  :innocentwhistle: :innocentwhistle:

Here's a question : If Phil was gay and had bashed Christians, do you think he would have been suspended ?
I think not.  :wo: :rolleye: :argh: :argh: :argh:

How many of these so called open minded Liberals, who found the words Phil used coarse and offensive, have called Conservatives "teabaggers"?  Hypocrites...

Hawks Feather

Thanks for the email address.  I just sent this to them.

It is so thoughtless of A&E to support the minority and chastise Phil for his freedom of speech.  I, and I am sure many others, have enjoyed watching Duck Dynasty and I WAS looking forward to the return.  Since you have chosen to eliminate Phil’s free speech and support the minorities, I will be joining others who will pass on A&E shows.  But I will watch parts of Duck Dynasty to learn what companies are there for commercials.  Then I will contact them to let them know that I, and again many others, will no longer be using their products.  Maybe you should consider dropping your #1 show and have a minority reality show take the place of Duck Dynasty.  That way they would be free to take the show to another network and your new reality show would be greatly appreciated by Phil’s outspoken haters.

The Robertson Family Offical Statement

We want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. The family has spent much time in prayer since learning of A&E's decision. We want you to know that first and foremost we are a family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word. While some of Phil’s unfiltered comments to the reporter were coarse, his beliefs are grounded in the teachings of the Bible. Phil is a Godly man who follows what the Bible says are the greatest commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Phil would never incite or encourage hate.We are disappointed that Phil has been placed on hiatus for expressing his faith, which is his constitutionally protected right. We have had a successful working relationship with A&E but, as a family, we cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm. We are in discussions with A&E to see what that means for the future of Duck Dynasty. Again, thank you for your continued support of our family.

Under Armour Sticks with Phil

Under Armour, Duck Dynasty’s biggest corporate sponsor is refusing to sever business relations with the Robertson Family despite boycott requests coming from gay lobby groups like GLAAD, reports TMZ Sports.

The company that sells men and women’s sports apparel and outdoor hunting wear issued the following media statement today:

“We are obviously aware of the situation; and his [Phil’s] comments are not indicative of Under Armour’s views…[But] We have no plans to change our current relationship.”
