Spring arrived whether us or the weather was ready for it in the chick department. The incubator chicks were to hatch on Monday and the new hatchery fluff balls were due on Tuesday.
Chick thinking it's time to break out.

Mr. Jim... we know you meant to say NOT sink to the bottom. You's got to watch those fast fingers, sometimes. :doh2:
Yep, a shame it would be... to let a thread of this character simply slip into cyberspace prematurely. :nono:
So...by popular request, this topic has now been classified as a sticky topic

Got some great news last night :yahoo:. Cathryn the last turkey hen left that I thought had been taken by a coyote was spotted out feeding in the yard yesterday so she is still alive :yoyo:. I guess she is sitting on eggs somewhere and that is just to cool as the boys are ecstatic. I might have got lucky by shooting the one coyote after it took the other hen off her nest. Got so dang many coyotes here you never know if the right one is getting shot or not .
In my way of thinkgng Barry the right one is always the one getting shot. On the other hand I do know what you mean. :yoyo: :yoyo:
What's all that white stuff on the ground?
Thought the coyotes got cathryn :laf:...I missed all the prelude to that.
Been wondering where she was! ........... :laf: :laf: tell her to get to posting@
Jim on an all niter :alscalls:
Sun is out and the ground is to wet to get on so I had time for some pics in the yard. Here is one of a barred hen that will help fill the breakfast orders this winter.
