This was a honey do for the wife this winter, thought some of you guys would like the wood. Light cherry stain, three coats varnish, sanded in between coats with 400 grit, last coat wet sanded with 600 grit

Beautiful...I thought of all the calls that could be made from it too. But I have to say it looks much better right where you have it. I would love to make something like that someday...that would probably put the wife into shock though. I really have to make her something sometime soon :wo:
