Man do I know the feeling all too well.... I was in a big contest here in PA and called in a pair at night.  Things went down so fast, and I made a poor shot with 4buck tward the hind end.  I trailed that thing for 2 mountains before the blood quit.
It's mate stayed with it the entire time coaxing it along.  Dang bitches !@!   Maybe this year I can place !!
