As most of you know I had a couple fellows over from Iceland and they got a couple coyotes.  I had the Hutterite I know tan them up for me so I could send them a memento of their trip.  I thought I'd show them to you so I can get your opinion of them :readthis:

Good looking furs Barry. What did those guys think about the coyote hunting? What do they hunt for at home?

Dave the cat and coons came from Texas.

Ed I've never seen 2 full grown men have so much fun with a bunch of flea ridden critters. :roflmao:  The fact that they got to call in and shoot their own coyotes made it so much the better.  They wanted me to call but I wouldn't cause I didn't want to be their Ecaller and take away the pride of doing it them selves.  2nd stand Birger got three to come and he was so excited he missed and I don't think he's used to missing. :hahaha:.  They hunt arctic fox there for predators and  Reindeer are their big game animal.  They hunt a lot of geese and ducks too.  Birger paid for his plane ticket over by picking night crawlers and selling them for fishing bait.. I am hoping that on my return to Iceland that I get to see and experience their outdoor pursuits in a way you couldn't do it for pay.

John P I think HaMeR is a floor layer as well as roof fixer cause the longest is 6' 1".  The little squares on my floor are 3".  I was quite impressed by the fellows work myself :yoyo:.  Some times these guys can do some pretty scary stuff :puke:

I'll be getting him to do some more for me now.

Man I am envious.  I've flown over Iceland many times and it is one of the places on planet earth I would love to walk on the ground.  Also, the little islets and reefs around much of the island look like they would make fabulous salt water fishing.  When you go back, we want to hear stories.

It wasn't all out of the goodness of my heart .  These guys showed me pictures and a really good video from the Icelandic tourism bureau.  They have some pretty wild looking land over there and I get to touch an Iceberg :yoyo: :yoyo: :yoyo: :yoyo: :yoyo: I don't care which one I touch but it will be the one that sunk the Titanic when I'm done the story.  They have some of the best salmon/trout fishing in the world and Birger does happen to guide for that.  He said he'll take me to places no else ever sees cause I won't be going back with my buddy's[like what happens if you show one prick around here a good spot].  Have I posted pics of their trip yet?

Hawks Feather

I am assuming that those had their winter fur on, but even with that, they make the boys looks small.

Jerry those coyotes are at the prime of the year and I guess the prime if their lives as they were both nice large coyotes.  They would have graded at the top end on any fur sale so that does help them look good.
