That sucker sure has a hook in his beak eh.  Welcome to the site and tell me a story about that fish.  As per usual I don't got them here so am quite interested as I don't got most critters.

Male Coho in full spawn colors. 

He hit a yarn fly and was a good fight on a 6 weight flyrod. 

This is a stream located in NW Indiana that flows to lake Michigan which was only about 5 miles from this spot.

Right after the pic was taken the fish kicked from my grip and landed out 5 feet back into his spot.

The other Coho was caught by my fishing buddy from another area stream but was kept and smoked.

It was pretty tasty :)

Gotta love that smoked fish! It has gotten hard to get here locally, ya have to smoke your own these days. Thanks for your post and we'll be looking for more. Welcome to the site!
