Does the wood type make a difference in the sound or just the looks?

In My  Opinion the denser the wood the sharper the sound

I think your right Bill......I have played with sound and how differences in the wood and how its turned or drilled effects it.....
I used my guitar tuner and a couple other gadgets I have to test it........
But either way I dont think the coyotes mind much......its just personal preference.

Sound waves are just that.....  sound waves......and even how you hold the call will effect them.
